Back in 1975, a gentleman by the name of Mike Luth moved to the Central Coast from Minnesota. As an avid Corvette owner, he started looking for a local Corvette club to join. Unable to find a club, he did the next best thing, start one. Golden Coast Corvette Club (now SLO VETTES), became a reality. SLO VETTES is an active club participating in various local parades, car shows, and cruise nights.
